MENTHE POIVRÉE - Herbal Tea

Perennial herb, peppermint has been harvested before flowering. Known for its powerful scent (menthol), its refreshing infusion is appreciated by many.

NUIT D’ÉTÉ - Herbal Tea

A blend of hibiscus flowers from Sudan, apple from Turkey and Poland, and rosehip peels from Chile. Flavored with raspberry, strawberry and cream flavors.

ROOIBOS CITRUS - Herbal Tea

Here the South African plant rooibos mingling with the acidulous flavor of citrus fruits. Both mild and lively, containing no theine, it is an ideal drink for children or at bedtime. It brings a ray of sunshine into the house.

THÉ BLANC D'ANJI

Anji White Tea is an exclusive production from Dammann Freres. And the manufacturing process is the one of of a white tea. Our white tea from Anji is not to be mistaken with the Anji Bai Cha which is one of the best-known teas in China. It grows in Anji and is harvested in the spring. The translation of the name of this tea is as follows: Anji's White Tea, it might suggest that it is a white tea, but it is not. The manufacture of this tea is that of a green tea. Nevertheless, it is given this name because of its very clear buds, a green jade color, like the varieties used to make white tea.This can be confusing, but our The Blanc D ’Anji is a creation in collaboration with the producers with whom Dammann Freres work and the manufacturing process is the one of a white tea.

“ The cutest tea store in Kansas City can be found at Emilie's French Teas in the Waldo neighborhood. This store has ready to drink tea, bags of tea that you can take home and make, as well as tea accessories. I went to this spot for the annual Waldo Sip & Stroll and had a wonderful time checking out the store. This is the perfect spot for tea lovers! There is a small area inside of the building that you can work remote or hang out with friends while sipping on tea. Check out Emilie's French Teas asap! ”

The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. It's a lovely little corner of the world. The last time I was there Emilie told me about a lovely Japanese green tea, Tamaryokucha, that she thought I would like. I had a cup and then I bought an ounce to enjoy at home. It's delicious. I will definitely going back for again and again! ”

“ I heard about this place from a friend and wanted to check it out. This place is a hidden gem! If you like tea, you should definitely check this place out. There is really something for everyone. I enjoyed our whole experience! Emilie offers fresh baked pastries, and when I say fresh, they bake them to order and it comes out HOT! (Chocolate croissant, yum!) You are not rushed, and can enjoy a quiet space to sit, read, work or visit. You are free to walk around to smell all the different kinds of teas they have to offer. I would like to visit again, and maybe attend a class to learn about the different teas! They also offer massage and other services, but we didn't schedule any appointments for that this time. If you have a few minutes to relax, and want to try something different, I'd highly recommend checking this place out! Emilie was a great hostess, educator, and waitress!! I'm also including a picture of our favorite flavor from today! ”

The tea room has such a calm atmosphere, it's a wonderful little place to go for a reprieve from the chaos of life. They also do private tea parties-- we went there for my bachelorette party and had a great time trying teas and eating delicious pastries. They make the best croissants I've ever had!
